Default Block girdle for B16A block?

i have a B18C1 that i am parting out and i was wondering if i can use that in my B16 block? what are the benefits? will it even fit?

umm i got a question why wouldn't you use the b18c block instead of the b16? you could put a gridle on the b16, it would be about as effective as a blow off valve on a n/a car. i also have a b18c block (went b20) and i can't sell it to anyone (no gridle, pickup, or baffle) good luck
