B20z throttle body problem
Ok I just realized that the b20z throttle body pulls the throttle cable from the passenger side as opposed to the LS which pulls from the driver side I had bought an Si throttle cable before I realized this. What can I do to make this work? CRV throttle cable? or change out the spring and throttle bracket?
b20guy, was it the big manifold or hte little one?
the big one is what i got - and it is a weird setup...very unconventional.
if you want to use it, you will have to create a bracket that allows you to do so.
make sure it is minimum 1.5mm steel or 2mm aluminium, it souldnt be too hard, it will save you having to buy more new parts and you can use the Si cable...
hth,
t..
PS here is a template TJ has used as a bracket... http://tjshondas.20m.com/cgi-bin/i/b16a/tcable.jpg

Its the LS type one with the hole on top for the resonator box. You must have the giraffe style eh?
Yeah I'm thinking either use the CRV throttle cable or switch out the tb pulley and spring or fab something.
and thanks, i might cut some metal now that you mention it.
