valve clearance w/ ctr pistons in a gsr?
hey guys i am wondering if i put .25mm o.s. ctr pistons in my gsr will there be enough valve clearance? my head is slightly milled due to when i had a blown head gasket they machine shop told me they had to mill the head a little bit because it was slightly warped...this was almost over a year ago. also would i have to update my valvetrain just for the pistons? would i be able to use 91 octane? i have used the searc function and cant get a straight answer for these.
any help would be appreciated ,
thx

I dont' know that much about bore and stroke, but the civic type R is a 1.6 and the GSR is 1.8....will civic type R pistions even work in there?

Yup they'll work not sure on clearance. I know a few ITR guys do it (I'm doing it as well). They make the compression ratio on a ITR 12.1:1 give or take a little I believe.

It will be fine. Just don't miss shift!!!!!
U might want to upgrade your valve train to ensure u never have any valve float.
Do u have stock cams???
