B20VTEC CRANK GIRDLE QUESTION??
oK FOLKS, I'm in the some what finishing stages of putting my b20vtec together and thought of the possible upgrade of a girdle. Now gsr's and itr's have them from factory but will it bolt up to ls and b20's main cap's or is z10 motorsports my only hope? I already have forged rods and pistons so thats covered, just interested in any knowledge if the factory girdle/bridge will fit.

Hey I've been asking this for awile. This is what most people say..
Things you will need
GSR Cap bolts
GSR windage tray
GSR oil pan
GSR oil pick-up
This parts are required even if you use the Z10 girdle.
The Z10 girdle there is no modifications. I believe if you opt to use the gsr crank girdle the 3rd cap has to be mill down. I dont know exactly how much, but I read a post stating the 3rd cap must be mill down 14mm. Hopfully someone in here can clear things up, I was just wondering if the B20 or B16 oil pan could be modify to fit the GSR crank girdle, whats the difference b/w the GSR and the rest?
