b20a 88-91 prelude transmission
Hey whats Up..
The other day we were at my friends house and got around to talking about b20vtec, and what block was best and **** and someone said that they used a b20 from a 88-91 prelude, said that some **** with dowel pins had to be done and some other **** had to be done, but neways I got to thinking an was wondering what kinda of tranny they had in the those years of preludes? Are they cable or hydro, and if they are cable are they the same as a 90-93 integra cable tranny??
Knowing that b's go with b's and **** I thought it would bolt up but was not sure about the mounts. If anyone knows about this hit meeh Up....

Re: b20a 88-91 prelude transmission (92Integra)
The 88-91 Prelude B20 is like the bastard B series motor. The parts aren't compatible with the newer B20B/Z or any other B series motors. That also includes the bolt-ons on the motor and the tranny as well. But just so you know the tranny is a cable tranny.
