Default b20/vtec reving issues

just curious about the reliablity of my B20/vtec setup, with the occasional 8000rpm rev. The b20 has 26k on it, stock bottom end, w/ a 98 gsr head. Ive search & there has been much talk about how it will last being built right.
the car will be a lightly driven, daily driver, & will be a weekend track ***** (roadrace)for the remainder of the year till i can rebuild the bottom end next winter.

I don't think i would take it to 8k with the stock bottom end, but i know with just arp rod bolts you can go to 8.5k, just dont stay there for a too long
