Default b20 studder?

Just swapped in a b20vtec into my 93 hatch.

Right before going into vtec car studders as if hitting rev limiter at about 5k rpm. studders about 4-5 times then crosses over into vtec.

any idea what can resolve this issue?

i am no scientist, but everyone who goes b20 with a stock ecu and no tune gets problems like your saying. i would say get uberdata or hondata and also get it tuned. that should fix it
