Okay so I got a hold of a B20b4 swap for my ek. Only problem is the block and head are completely dissassembled. While the pistons are out the block will be honed and decked with fresh piston rings added.

Now for the bearings, I read that I can use a b18 bearing set (main and rod) is that correct?

What gaskets will i need to rebuild the bottom end? And cant I use b18 gaskets to rebuild the bottom end as well?

I plan on reusing the b20 head I know i have to replace the valve stems and seals as well as the head gasket. But what else will i have to replace??

Anything else I should replace while the motor is out??

Why would you use B18 bearings and gaskets, when you can just get B20 bearings and gaskets?

For the bottom end, you should replace the bearings, piston rings, oil pan gasket, and front and rear main seals.

To rebuild the head and put it all together, you should get a head gasket, valve cover gasket, cam seals, spark plug gaskets, intake gasket, exhaust gasket, and throttle body gasket. Valve stem seals can be checked for runout and reused, as long as they're within spec.

I'm sure I'm missing something somewhere, but most gasket companies make "bottom end" and "top end" kits that will come with everything you'll need.

 

you can use everything b18a/b on the bottom end minus pistons/rings/headgasket.

 

Okay now I have a mount question!!!

I know I need:
99-00 Si Rear mount bracket (T-bracket)
96-00 CRV/ Del Sol Vtec Driverside front lower engine mount

What other mounts do I need?
Can I just get a simple D to B mounts kit and solve my mount issue all together?
Do I need the CRV/Si timing belt mount?
