Help? I have 3 question about my B20vtec hatch!

Default Help? I have 3 question about my B20vtec hatch!

1. Why does my car knock when I bearly start it up in the morning.
- Maybe rods are going out or something else-


2. What kind of head gasket do i use for my b20 vtec.
-gsr head gasket or b20 head gasket-


3. Why is my gsr head turning dark brown.
-Whats causing it to make it brown-


I need your help ppl?

yOU WILL HAVE TO ACTUALLY FIND THE SOURCE OF THE KNOCK, sorry, or you will be doing main and rod bearings at the same time you are doing a head gasket and valve adjustment.

Pull one spark plug wire as soon as it starts and see if the sound gets less, reset it and pull another wire and see if the sound clears up some, if so, that will be the cylinder with a bad rod bearing, the noise could still be valves or the main, but I doubt the mains.

What part of the head is getting brown, the outside = valve cover gasket leak, distributor o ring leak, inside the valve cover is years of unfrequent oil changes but it has had a few.
