b20 with idle problems
1997 Civic Lx (Manual)
Current setup:
1999 B20b Jdm motor
1996 Integra Ls MT ECU (37820-P75-A02)
stock b20 injectors
skunk 2 intake/Fuel rail
professional Products 65mm Throttlebody
secondary o2 sensor not connected due to lack of exhaust piping and cat (will be installed once car can drive to muffler shop)
*This motor setup was installed and working in a 00 civic ex for a few years b4 it was placed into this one, but it was using a chipped obdI ECU, engine was removed and sat for 1year*
codes being displayed: 10, 14, 41
the engine will turn on and idle around 400-500 rpms. if any throttle is applied the engine dies.
i have cut and extended the iat sensor from its original place on the d17 intake tube to the new place on the manifold of the b20 and changed plugs to accommodate the new style sensor.
The IACV was removed from the intake, cleaned, and reinstalled
I am not sure if those two codes are causing the car not to rev or if it has todo with the fuel filter, injectors or fuel pressure
also i tried switching the plugs to correct the cel and that did nothing so i set them back the way i had them and i am sure they are connected properly
