Hey guys I was reading the threads about b20s in eks but I'm still not quiet sure what I would need specifically since I have an em1 wlthat already comes equipped with a bseries. What could I resuse and what will I still need to get extra?

The short block is all you really need to swap into that car. It would basically be a b20 vtec conversion.....there are many many threads that cover this procedure

Also note that if you have to pass emissions, you will not. The B20 is classified as a "light truck" motor, and federal law precludes mixing and matching motor and chassis classifications.

O ok as far as alternator, wiring harness, halfshaft, a/c bracket can all be reused from my em1? What about started ill be using my b16 tranny.

And thanks on the emission test I live in fla and don't go thru that which is good.

Your drivetrain can be bolted straight to the B20, no problems. Alternator should be a direct bolt on, as well. Wiring harness will only be a direct match if you get a 99+ B20B or B20Z.

Just make sure you don't make the mistake of buying the B20A. You'll have a headache trying to figure out why NOTHING fits, and when you figure it out, everyone will point and laugh.

If you are just doing a b20 swap and no vtec than everything but the powersteering mount should swap right over. You need to find the ls bracket. So engine harness can be reused but you will need a jumper harness and find an obd2a ecu, obd2b ecus have immobilizer. Tranny flywheel clutch Nd starter will fit as all b series are kinda basicly swappable. Exhaust should fit as well. I had no problem doing everything above for my 2000 civic si.
