sounds like a tranny/flywheel issue unless it makes it anytime your in high rpms then its motor

What about an axle issue? My driver side axle is on the way out and I can hear it clattering as I drive at a steady pace.

-edit: h22a with prelude halfshaft, DA pass. Axle, and unknown mounts, and unknown drivers side axle. Pretty sure the previous owner used DA axles though

hmm could be a number of things, id start at the half shaft but they usually dont make that noise it sounds like a flywheel,throw out bearing of somethin in the tranny

when he first took off it sounded like alil valve tap. the squealing noise i have no idea.

--- tob usually only makes noise when the clutch is depressed and it would do it all the time. the noise is only when its cold for the first 2-5 minutes and only tends to do it in 1st and 2nd.


--- i am really thinking it's something trans, axle, or main drive train related... the squealing noise is just wind from pulling in my phone.

That rattle sounded familiar. After I had my custom exhaust installed...it rattled like that. Later, when I had put in the turbo kit...the rattle stopped. The rattle came underneath the car...between the downpipe and cat connects.

--- i have a solid 1 piece exhaust system. Header, no cat, to muffler and all welded with no flanges.

Would like to add... Doesn't make the noise if I rev it and not in gear.

sounds to me like a CV boot has lost some of its packing grease, check out your CV boot clamps.

it was a flywheel bolt backing out, then backed out and was clanking around... then shot into my trans and back out.
