Well, yah its a good site and all for really beginner questions, but doesnt give indepth info on some important things.

Re: B20 -> EK Hatch (tinkerbell)
Step by Step sites for "your" (not implying you specifically) application do not exist. I know of a site that did a B18C1 swap into a '95 civic coupe (not mine ) You need to gather as much info as you can from these sites.
Here's step by step:
Remove all fluids
Unplug engine wiring harness and flop over engine.
Remove all coolant lines (both radiator hoses and heater core hoses)
Remove tranny shift linkage
Remove axels (pop the lower ball joint, undo big nut and lower shock bolt)
Remove motor mounts.
In a nut shell, that's all there is to it.
As for the B20, you'll need the long block, an LS intake manifold, An LS ECU for the year of your car ('96-'98, or '99 to '01?)...then obtain teh proper LS wiring harness for the B20.
Slap on the tranny of your choice, attach the wiring, make sure you've complete all your maintenance.
Installation is the reversal of removal (sorry about the chilton's/hayne's reference )
All of the blanks that need to be filled in will be filled in by you. Get a damn good service manual (that would be a helm) and read it as if it were the Word.
Anything else that you need, we'll be happy to help.
