b20 in ek???
Well depending on the driver, a lot of cars could take mustang GTs. If you want to build a car just to beat a Mustang GT, I think you're building it for the wrong reason, IMO.
The 1/4 mile times for a B20 non-vtec setup in an EK range from high 15s to mid 14s, depending on driver, track, traction, mods, weight.
I think it's quite possible to beat Mustang GTs with a mid 14. A VTEC head in most cases would make more power, but to use the head properly, the whole engine has to be built. The b20 stock is NOT designed for high RPM use.
