I am about to pick up a b20/vtec motor with a rebuilt block bored out to 84.5 with eagle rods, arias pistons, arp rods and bolts, and a 3 angle valve job... The head is obd0 from a first gen b16. But my main question is, how is the life expectancy of this motor? I keep hearing around 2 years or so and that depends on how it is driven. I plan on using this motor as a daily driver and I plan on keeping the car for a lil while longer. But I know that a girdle and block guard will help... I kinda regret not going poorman's type r with a gsr block/b16 head. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Re: b20 in ef life span (pinks11)
depends on how hard you drive the engine. depends on compression....depends on alot of things....but going overbore on a b20 usually is not a good thing!
