b20b runs a lower compression ratio giving a hp rating of: 126hp
b20z comes in the 99 crv and gets 142hp by running a higher compression.

b20b 8.8 compression and 6.5 rev. the newer b20 (z) has 10.1 compression i think and they are the same stroke and bore and pistons but the head is where the difference is. my ls head on my b20b helpd gap that hp distance from 126hp back to the 15h i had with the ls.
but im double guessin that cuz 8.8 compression is beautiful for a turbo'd honda
