Default B18C1 into EM1 AC Question

I have an EM1 that I swapped a GSR longblock into. When I got the car, it had all AC components removed. I want to reinstall the AC into the car.

I have a line on an AC system from an EM1 that the guy removed, but is still using the AC Compressor mount in his car.

Will a P72 Bracket work for me in the EM1 chassis?

Thanks in advance.

Yes I believe you would have to use the bracket for the motor you have now.

It depends was your EM1 a D series or a B series originally and is the EM1 AC you are getting form a D series or B series? Either will work but it make a difference in what AC bracket you need. If it is a D series AC compressor you need a, AC bracket from either a B20 CRV or a Del Sol Vtec. If it is a B series compressor then you can use any B18 or B16 bracket.

You do realize the EM1 is the 00 Civic Si, right?

I'm curious b/c the part numbers are different between the GSR bracket and the Si.

yes the p72 should work, provided you are using a b series compressor.

Canada EM1 Si is D series.
Get the OEM bracket for your motor, the P72 will work.

Ah ok thats for correcting me. I thought some 99-00 and 01-04 Civics were EM chassis as well.
