Default B18C to EK throttle cable

hello,

just purchased a car 00 civic with a 96 B18C in it, in the middle of tracking down some issues on it,

my question is what is the correct throttle cable set up for this.
right now it comes off throttle body towards pass side, and then loops back and goes into firewall.

reason i ask, the cable bracket has some spacers/washers on it, also the angle that it comes off points it almost right into the intake tube, and then once it gets to the gas peddle it gets interesting, it looks like the guy has used a piece of hose and 2 hose clamps there to take up the slack in the cable.

If you have a stock GSR intake manifold, you should purchase a factory GSR throttle cable and firewall bracket to properly locate the routing of the cable. The pedal assembly may be too close INSIDE the firewall to get the proper adjustment with all of the stock parts in place, and one way to accommodate this phenomenon is to use a washer or two between the throttle body and the bracket at each of the two bolts to extend the adjustment range.

A photo would be helpful if you do not have a stock intake manifold.
