b18b1 into ek hx coupe..how hard is it??
possibly going to buy a 97 hx coupe tomorrow with intention to swap in an obd2 b18b1 to be turbo'd over the winter. ive gathered that i need the rear tranny and upper drivers side mount from a 99si. since this will be turbo, i want to get full urethane mounts when i do the swap, but i cant find a full kit for this swap(should i just buy them individually?). another question i have is that i will be converting to obd1 so i can use uberdata. i would just need the obd2-obd1 harness and an ob1 ecu right? once i get the correct mounts and ****, how much of a plug and play is this swap going to be? just tring to get some info on this swap before i buy the hx, because ls turbo is a definate and the car that it is going into is still not set in stone

ES makes inserts, or Hasport mounts will work. Yup just need that harness. It is plug and play. It took me 5 hours for my first swap. have fun.

very good to hear. me and some buddies will probably wind up doing the swap over the course of a weekend(hard to get free time).
anyone else have tips or anything on this ?
