00 Si "post mount" = Tbracket (( rear mounting bracket )) ??
Si post mount is the cast iron mount thats bolted directly to the block on the timing belt side. Rear T-bracket is the rear mounting bracket. The post mount can come from a '99 - '00 Si, '94 - '97 Del Sol Vtec, '97 - '01 CR-V or '92 - '00 JDM Civic with B-series. The T-bracket must come from a '99 - '00 Civic Si or JDM '96 - '00 Civic with B-series.

So do I need the "post mount" if my LS already has one ?
And thanks for the info.

Depends on whats on it now, if its got 2 studs and threaded hole for a bolt you'll need the 2 post mount, if its got 2 studs and no threaded hole for a bolt then you'll be ok. IIRC JDM Integras never came with LS engines, all the ones you see came from Orthias which as I recall use the 2 post mount you want.

Just checked...
Btw I forgot to mention it was originally an automatic LS.
Never payed any mind to the automatic flywheel xD.
Good thing I'm ordering a whole new clutch kit =]
My bro hooked me up with an ECU too (( P75-a??? ))

Anyways...
Just checked the post mount and its only 2 studs and nothing else...
No threaded hole around it... So all I need is the rear Tbracket (( Mounting bracket )) ?

You could, but unless its a lot cheaper i'd just get it from majestic. It was part 7 in the diagram Honda part number 50827-S04-N10

Lol...
Ok not to be an*l or anything...

But I won't be getting scammed or anything through majestic right ?
I'm not too fond of anything that doesn't use paypal =/

Safe to order that bracket from Majestic then ?
Cuz it does come out $10 cheaper than ebay.

They're legit, they're an actual Honda dealership in Rhode Island. And if they would ship to Canada i'd buy from them. I was just talking to a guy here not long ago and he had to buy that same rear T-bracket, cost $108 at a honda dealership about 2 hours from me.

jdm doesn't mean anything install wise, so get that out of your head

An LS B18B comes out of an integra, i think you know that. You want to mount it into a civic....then, you will need a civic post mount. Why from an Si? Because it fits a b series engine into an EK civc

Welp... No threaded hole on my post mount...
And the lengths between the 2 studs on that Si post mount and mine are almost identical...

I'll take a pic today and post here later...

Thanks again Deetz, very helpful =]

As much sense as that seems to make keep this in mind, Orthias came with B18Bs, and i've personally seen them come from importers (EK style clutch line) and as I recall they also had the 2 post mount. I couldn't swear to it being true, but i've definately heard it said that JDM Integras never came with B18Bs, only B18Cs, B16s and D-series.

You are right about the Orthia sharing the same engine bay as the EK, it was the same chassis, pretty much an EK wagon if you will, and yes, engines in it would have the proper post mount. In fact, the 2000 model B20B (known as B20Z here NA) i installed in a 96 hatch a couple years ago bolted straight in.

I am not 100% sure if the Orthia came with a B18B, II thought they were B20B's like the one i have. I even have pics from the one i got my engine from.....

I put a JDM B18B in an Integra this summer, as near as we can tell thats what it came from. It definately didn't come from an Integra. Had the '96 - '00 Civic style clutch line still attached. I seem to recall that there was a 2 post mount on it, can't remember for sure, the integra it went in had a D-series in it previously and I seem to recall that was used the D-series steel/rubber mount as a opposed to an integra aluminum mount.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Orthia

Links seem to point to B18B among other engines being available.

A little off topic here but was this a "wise" trade ?...
I ended trading my headers (( D-Series, 4-2-1, ebay )) for a set a REPO sidemarkers (( one missing connector harness and clip -_- )) and jdm plate relocator...

Sounded good to me since I didn't need the headers anyways...
Opinions ?

And to look back on it I think it was a dumb trade but meh, whatever.

Dollar wise I think the other guy came out ahead, but thats the way trades go. Also it depends on what you paid for the stuff.

^Came with the coupe when I bought it... But I saw them on ebay for like $50 - $60 w/ test pipe (( I kept my test pipe ))

And he said the retail on those sidemarkers were $60 (( yea like I believed that ))... And that he paid $50 for the relocater, which sounded about right to me actually...

I traded cuz they were just taking up space...
Figured might as well trade for something I'm going to use, right ?

Here's everything plugged up...
Just gotta cover everything back up...
E-Tape and heat shrink are going to be my best friends...
I'm pretty sure (( engine-wise )) everything is plugged up.

All that's left is to plug the tranny and evap up (( waiting on my clutch kit to come in ))
Open to any suggestions// corrections:
