Default B18B Into 92 EG O2 Sensor Q's

B18B into a 92 eg, installation is cake and so is the wiring except for the O2 sensor. I am using the CX harness. Everything plugs up except for the O2 sensor. The CX has the O2 Sensor right on the manifold by the dip stick. Should I use the O2 sensor from the cx and just extend the wire? Or should I use a B series O2 sensor and have to rewire to the ecu?

Comments greatly appreciated on this little issue I am having.

Why not just tap the O2 sensor in where it should be on your stock motor. I have a B18C in my 95 hatch, my O2 sensor in my stock car was on my header, GSR's were on the cat, I just put mine on the cat cause it was just as easy, but I don't think it really matters where you put it, as long as it is there. Put it on the cat if it will reach, if it wont reach, just put it somewhere between the cat and the top of the header.

I am not worried about the location of the O2 sensor. I am more worried about the wiring and if I can use the single cam O2 sensor. Which O2 sensor did you use? What harness did you use on your swap?

Right now I have the OBD I sensor hooked up, threw no Check Engine light or anything. I have the OBD II GSR Engine wiring harness, hooked up to the motor, then I used my stock single cam ECU but use the GSR Mugen programming chip and everything works perfect, VTEC kicks in a 5200, revs to 9400. Did your car already have VTEC. Mine was the Si so it was no problem, if you dont have VTEC already somethings will have to be done to work. What is a B18B anyways?

Can't use the 1 wire O2 bro. You have to wire it up to use the 4 wire O2 the LS came with.
Search for something like "4 wire O2 sensor wiring".
