Default b18a1 vs b16a1

I was wondering if anybody could help me out here. I currently have a 92 Integra Gs and Im in search of getting more power. From what Ive heard I can build my b18 to be more powerfull than a b16a, and still have more torque. I was looking at some stats the other day and the Honda Integra xsi (witht he first gen b16a) ran the 400m (1/4 in japan) in 15.3 stock. My car clocks in at about 16.5 with a stock motor less an intake. I dont want to go ls/vtec do to the fact that there are no reliable shops in my area to properly build my engine, and reliabilty is what im looking for. My main question is should I stick with the engine I have now, or go with a b16a. The swap is probably one of the easiest ones out their, and I can get a decent price on the motor (about $1300 Canadian). Any help would be seriously appreciated, thanks.

The JDM XSi is about 2470lbs. Your car is about 26XXlbs. You would be better off building your motor.
