b18a will it work?
hey guys, I found a really cheap b18a motor, I mean dirt cheap. thing is its missing the wiring harnest and tranny. But everything esle it there. I was wondering is it worth it to buy this motor re-build it over the winter(better internals) and put it in my 1996 Civic.
is a wiring harnest expensive? what else would I need to change my car from OBD2 to OBD1?
what are the main parts I need for a swap?
thanks

why are you putting a older motor into a newer car? How cheap i might have one cheaper plus a tranny. They are cable tranny dont forget and the 96- are hydrolic. correct me if im wrong

Honestly the easiest thing for you to do is find a more complete swap the b18a is pre obd and it would be a big change. Those mounts wont work either so you'll need to add mounts to the list. I say find a more complete swap.
