b18a into a eg
what else would i need to swap a b18a from a 92 integra into my 94 civic hb? i have the whole car to work with so besides a hydro to cable mount that hasport sells what else would be needed?
so the only extra parts i would need would be 88-89 prelude axles and a hasport hydro to cable mount kit?..would the axles out of the integra not fit right?
would i have to buy a motor mount kit ? or would the engine just bolt in? can some one please put together a list of things needed to complete this swap...all i know is that i would need a hydro to cabe mount and 88-89 prelude axles what else?thanks

well, i supposed it would be really easy if you could get a hold of a hydro tranny cheap, you'd have to get a drivers side mount bracket because I think the ones on the 2nd gen ls's is different than in civics. That part is $63 new from acura. The cheapest i've been able to find a hydrolic ls tranny is $600. Then you'd have to have a different clutch, the cable one wouldn't work. So the whole cable set up might be cheaper. Most places the civic axles cores are the same price as that year prelude, so if you can talk them into taking unequal length shafts in place of equal length shafts you'd be set for the price of some reman axles. But I think they core is like $50 most places. So About $220 you'd have axles and cores and you'd have your civic axles as spares in case someone ever needed them.
About the axles. I had a friend do a 1st gen b16 into a 92 cx, and I sold him 90-93 teg axles. Well they didn't work because they were slightly too short. But the prelude axles are an inch longer which is perfect. I've heard of a lot of people that paid a ton of money to have axles custom made for this swap, and I found out the secret. HAsport is probably sending an assasin my way as we speak.
