Default b18 swap idle problems

I just put a b18b into my 95 eg and at idle it sits at 1800 rpms when the car is warm before that it tends to be the same somtimes it will slowly climb for a brief moment to 2200. I do not have exhaust hooked up it shooting straight out of a 4 to 1 header as my test pipe and old cat will not line up to bolt them on. So maybe air getting to o2 sensor?
Another thing is when i drive it after it gets in gear the rpms will drop to what they should be while in gear.

thanks for reading any insight or experience is appreciated, tomorrow i plan on cleaning out the iacv.

I also read about the fitv but im not sure how to trouble shoot that.

Clean the IACV, but you will likely have to just replace it. I cleaned mine on my old D series, and it idled and ran perfect for about 50 miles then started doing the same crap.

Update

Cleaned iacv and fitv still no luck plugged tb with hand car wouldn't die so I started squeezing vaccume lines and the Ptv line killed car as soon as I squeezed it. Line looks to have been replaced should I try an clamp the ends down or delete the ptv?

Clamp both ends first, and make sure no other lines are leaking.
