B18 problems.
I just finished putting my B18b1 in my EG hatch. The harness came plugged into the motor already so i really didn't have to plug anything in except for the parts where the motor goes to the car.
Problem is, I try to start the car and it turns over, I think I have spark cause Im getting backfire from the headers.. It turns over, and if you pump the gas it'll turn on for a second then just die out. Fuel pump is primering, starter is working fine.
I'm wondering if it's a sensor, or something unplugged that's making it do that? Any help please.

Re: B18 problems.
Test your fuel pressure - You should be getting ~40PSI to the top of the filter, according to service manual specs.
Check your spark ("I think" doesn't do much good). It should be white. Also, make sure you have your wires in the right cylinders.
Get a timing light, and check your timing.

I'll try to check that tomorrow, but could it possibly be the MAP sensor? What are those 3 sensors on the intake manifold. One of em is the MAP sensor, what about the other two
