Icon2 B18 Idle issues

Car runs great when cold, about 1100 rpm, but once warmed up it bounces from 950 to 400 car is still drivable, but its kinda freaking me out..

Things I have done

Replace TPS
Cleaned IACV

Note: The guy who did the swap in the Del Sol, doesn't have the coolant lines hooked up to the IACV, could this be the reason? Or could this be a simple ECU reflash, which I know it needs..

But he has also bypassed alot of stuff. Like no heater gutted, radiator goes to motor, motor to radiator.. No where else

Go to auto zone and get a free OBD scan on your CEL and pull the codes. Come back with the codes and good which each one is and go from there. you also said the coolant lines to the IACV is disconnected? Connect them lol

Try not to bypass those coolant lines and run them back to their original location, thats what i would start with first.

Yea, its been a headache, I traded for the car, already built by someone else, so I am having to go over it with a fine tooth comb.. Which I know the ecu needs re-tuned cause previous owner had a 6262 80ar turbo on it, but got low on funds sold it and put a 50 trim on it... So the fuel/air is slightly off..

You said you replaced the TPS? Was it tuned after the replacement?

No, I am waiting on my Usb to OBD cable to come in, so I can reflash it.. Its already tuned with Crome, which I now have on my laptop. Just need my cable.

Which when I unplugged the batt to install the tps, I believe I screwed up the tune worse, cause even my RPMs are off 55mph 3700 rpm in 5th lol

I think what it could be is that the voltage on the tps is off when you replaced it. Did you mark it before you took it off? Don't lie now.

I can think of a few diff things could be wrong could be from swapping out stuff like turbo an need to remap your fuel maps.

like turbo,injectors

Check your timing and also check your valve lash

It could also be for fitv try cleaning that out

But first try to clean your fitv
