Default B17A with a B18B crankshaft

I have a B17A currently in my car and a B18B sitting in my garage would it be best to go LS/VTEC or just change out the cranks and avoid running oil lines?

Go LS-VTEC. Although people have stroked the B16A/B17A block to 89mm, it is not a really good idea. The B16A/B17A block is too short for that long a stroke.
