Default b17 axles issue

Well it seems I can't win for loosing.. So here goes.. after i got the motor in and everything all setup i went to put the axles in i bought and I bought the 93 Integra axle to match the transmission... now when i stick the axle in and then to the HUB it comes up like a half inch short from actually being in the tranmission, its going in my 94 civic. and from what i was told the axles for the b series are all the same? is this not the case?
