is a B16A5 with hydraulic transmission better than a B16A in a drag race and performance

After some google searching it appears to be a variation of the JDM SIR-II motor.

So, to the original poster, yes it is faster because it has 10 more HP.

its an auto engine but i made it manual by installing a manual hydraulic gear i only want to know is that in a drag race which one will be the faster B16A5 or B16A. i have swapped it in civic 95.

i only wanted to know was that i am planning to swap a B16 into my civic 95, ihave two options one is B16A and the other one is a B16A5 which has an auto tranny but the guy is giving me a manual hydraulic tranny with it. so which one is best to swap for drag racing please any idea please tell me cuz i am confused.

a lot of us don't know what exactly the A5 consists of. If its the same as the JDM spec (P30 pistons) then its the same as the B16A. If its like the US spec (PR3) then the B16A is better.
