By the time you get a hydro-cable conv kit, new rear bracket, new driver side bracket, new motor mounts, new linkage, change out the OBD-0 ECU, injecotors, and distributor to OBD-1 or 2 electronics (OBD-1 ECU, have to get an ECU jumper harness), and wire it all up to either OBD-1 or OBD-2, you would have probably spent just as much, and done more labor and running around piecing the swap together with the parts listed above, would have spent as much as a 99-00 Si B16A swap to begin with, where all of the mounts, brackets, linkage, and wiring (for the most part) is all plug & play and no running around trying to source little things here and there like a new distributor here or an ECU there. My $.02

But if you have your heart set on getting a 10 year old B16A1 swap, and want to go with that, then more power to you.

Thanks Newman, that about sums it up. A lot of people see that the swap is cheap but they don't realize all the extras it takes to make it work in a 92+ Civic. If you are installing it into an EF Civic/CRX (88-91) or DA Integra (90-93) then that's fine.

I just bought a 91 civic sedan to get out of street racing, but the b16 swap is awfull tempting. What exactly goes into this swap as far as wiring goes? Thanks
