b16a sir1 into 88 crx si-speedo cable question.plz help
I'm putting a b16a gen1 into my 88 crx si and I was looking at the speedo connector on the engine, and where it goest to the tranny, it mounts onto what looks like either a pump or a filter and it has two ports for probably tranny fluid(i'm guessing in and out). Anyone know if I need to hook these ports up to anything or if I just block them off, or something else?

Ok, so I put the speedo mount from my d16a6 onto the b16a and it seems like it should work. The only thing I'm concerned about is that the gear is higher in the transmission due to it being higher on the shaft, but not by much. Has anyone done that switch? And did it work?
