Default b16a SIR II

I have a 93 civic ex automatic and I'm putting a b16a sir II 5 spd in it. 2 questions. What mounts would anyone recommend hasport or place, 2nd what clutch should i go with. Im probably going to build the engine up later, so I'm thinking of a stage 2 but im not sure, it is going to be for every day driving so i dont want something too aggressive.

I would suggest the normal mix of stock and 94-01 Integra mounts to bolt the motor in. You will also need a manual tranny frame bracket which you can buy new from Honda or at a salvage yard. You will need to have the auto one removed and the manual one welded in it's place.

Any suggestions where to buy a water pump? Also, I heard that place racing is a pain to deal. Anyone deal with them before and how was the service?

heres a question for someone, my car just decided to start doing this. My radiator is always empty and my reserve is full and is blowing coolant every where outta the reserve cap. The radiator isn't sucking coolant back into it from the reserve. Also, my speedometer starts going ape **** about half way through a gear. If im coasting in neutral and hit the gas the speedometer needles starts flyin everywhere. I'm thinking sensor on the tranny, any ideas?

Yes, the water pump or something inside the water system is not pumping thru the engine/water system.

As for the speedo, make sure the alternator connections and batteries are good and no corrosion. If all is good then sounds like the ESS is bad.

ok back to my swap. b16a SIR 2nd gen in a 93 civic ex automatic. what all do i need. I'm getting a full swap from hmotors

So far i have to get:
-place racing rear mount to change it from an auto. to a man. mount
-94-00 integra ACT organic street clutch
- water pump
- timing belt
- is it worth getting a subwire harness? all i need is to wire a knock sensor right ?
vtec should be ok since i already have it right?

also anyone know what color the wires are for the the clutch pedal sensor in a 93 civic coupe? I'm planing on splicing the wires together so that i could start it without having to be in it. (remote starter) plus i think im gonna have a problem starting it with all the automatic ****. like it has to be in park or neutral to start it, im not sure if the new 5 spd computer will ignore that or if that will be a problem.

I used all of the stock mounts that came with my swap, dropped right in. You should replace the water pump, timing belt, timing belt tensioner, spark plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor, and valve cover gasket. as for wiring all you need is the knock sensor wire.
