Actually right now I'm getting my h22 resleeved with iron sleeves. Don't do it. For the cost that I'm going through.. I KNOW that the b series would've been MUCH cheaper... unless of course you da man w/ mad $$$.... h22's are expensive.. period.. that AND they don't have NEARLY as much stuff as b series do... just my 2 cents.. if you really wanna go thru the hassle.. you're more than welcome....

yes.. the MOTOR costs that much.. everyone ALWAYS forgets about EVERYTHING else... cmon now.. the cost of getting in there is pretty significant too.. the mount kit usually ranges around 600 bux... then you'll have to worry about suspension that is unless you don't mind being so low you have to dodge man holes.....

You say you are doing everything yourself....but are you cutting out the old mounts and welding in new ones with the H22? If no, you WILL need a mount kit...which is again $4-600....not trying to flame you but PAY ATTENTION.....it could end up costing you a lot of unexpected money (and YES sometimes I need to pay better attention myself). I hope this helps. Later!

doing the install yourself can save you 700 bucks labor for the swap
sooo 700 bucks goes to the mounting kit......then couple more hundred for misc parts

not bad for a 13sec hybrid that can turn....not as good, but can turn. drive one and you'll see why thats one of the best bang for the buck engines!
