Default B16a Question

I just swapped an SiR1 B16 into my eg and I had read on another sight that it was a bad move. ( with the cable tranny ) I had to convert it from a non obd to an obd and I also swapped the cable tranny for a hydro. So basically I have almost the same set up as a usdm B16a2. I was just wondering if what I did was a bad move or not.

Wasn't a bad move but you could have saved alot of hassle, time, and added a newer motor with more power. Basicly it's why you always do alot of research and ask people who have done it before. I never even thought of using a 1st gen motor. I bought a 2nd gen swap and everything bolted up.
