B16a OBD?
Well, heres what I can give you for cold hard facts:
-The engine was manufactured in 1992
-Its OBD1
-Its JDM
-It *could* have come from a 1992 JDM Civic SiR/SiRII, thats not to say it did, but it was available in that particular vehicle at that time. There are other cars that shared the same engine.

If it is a stock JDM b16. Usually the ones with engine codes starting in 1's are Obd0 wich is a JDM b16 Sir. The #'s Starting with a 5 are OBD1 which is a b16 SiR II. Google it thats how i found out JDM b16 i got.
The vtec solenoid has a obd-1 plug on it. It's hard to tell because both obd-0/1 are so idenical visually. Intake manifold is deffinatly obd-1, throttle body obd-0.
Pull a spark plug and see what the piston says. p30 means obd-1, pr3 means obd-0.
I believe they changed somthing internally because obd-0 b16's are 160hp, and obd-1 are 170.
