b16a into 95 dx
this was posted in the eg forum to for the guys there.. but i figured i would post it here to for the guys who only visit thsi forum
im using a b16a.. we tossed the cable trans for a gsr trans (has lsd in it when i got it) im using the stock dx harness... i have not yet ran the vtec wiring because ive been tryin to get it to start first.. i plugged in the ecu (skunk chipped p28) and i tried to crank it and it turns over all day... but nothing.. thought it might have been timing so i redid the timing (ended up doin it like 6 times).. its sparking.. its gettin fuel but nothing.. finally after a few days of tinkering i decided to open the ecu up.. and sure enough r135 on the ecu is burnt.. so i got another p28 i had layin around and plugged it in thinkin maybe the other ecu may have been fucked up when we got it.. but no dice.. i plugged the other p28 into my friends car to make sure it was good first.. and everything worked fine.. so i took the cover off of it and put it into the project car.. i just put the key into the ignition and turned it to on (i didnt crank it) and the fuel pump primed.. then not even two seconds after the fuel pump primes r135 on the ecu fries its some sort of diode or something.. and i have no clue why it is doing this... does anyone have any ideas??

If you are frying any potion of the circuit board, diodes, capacitors, etc. then there is a wiring problem somewhere. Sounds to me like a power source is grounding out which might not be easy to find. It's going to get expensive troubleshooting and burning up P28's
