b16a in crx si code 22 how do I fix it?
I just did a b16 swap and I am trying to work out the bugs. I was driving down the road at about 45 -55 miles per hour and the car sort of hesitated and then the check engine light came on. I checked the ecu and 2 long lights followed by 2 short lights showed up. code 22 Which is the VTEC oil pressure switch circuit. How do I fix this problem?

i'm having the same problems on my b18. You have to check the continuity or the switches and wiring, and check how much voltage is getting through. You will also have to do an oil pressure check on the vtec soleniod depending on the results of the electrical check, or ultimately disassemble the vtec solenoid to check the o-rings and the piston inside.

Did your car have hesitations at partial throttle? Like under 5g's, mostly at lower revs? Thats what my car has been doing for 2 wks now, and i just got a code 22 tonight. Reset the ecu and shoved the wire into the ecu clip more, and it went away? Is the hesitation related??
