B16a complete swap into 92-95...SHEEP.
ok i had to get your attention. Im wondering if anyone has figures on how much a b16a would be in a 92 civic, im talking all prices on the swap. I did a search, I asked a speed shop no luck. no one can tell me if it would be easier to do a b16a or a2 Price wise. Thanks for any info.

from what i understand about the motors i would have to say the b16a sir2. im just basing that on the fact that i read that the sir2(92+) fits much better in 92+ hondas....

its around the same. the 1st may be less but you will probably need motor mounts and that bumps the price up a little. it will still be less though.

I don't feel like going over this again. So i'll just tell you to get a 2nd Gen B16a.
Trust me you'll save money in the long run...........

yea a b16a SIRII is cheaper than the first gen. reson? distributor, mounts, clutch, etc.
for the full swap dont pay more than 2500 plus shipping. i paid 2300 for mine for the full swap. (and psst the b16a2 is from the 99+ si, you mean the b16a3 from a 94+ del sol)

sir2 is only cheaper if you are gonna keep everything stock. But if you are going to do mods, minds well go SIR1 longblock. So you will have to buy tranny (y21 w/lsd etc) chromoly flywheel+better clutch, better mounts, etc etc. So if your gonna drop in the motor and keep it the way it is, your better off with SIR2, but if your gonna mod it, minds well get SIR1

its up to you
it all depends on what you want in the long run.
Also. what do you mean get the sir1? for the price of a TRANSMISSION you can get an sirII.
