b16a block question

hello h-t well i have a b16a motor being put together and i noticed my block did not have this sensor on the crack heres a pic.... its the 3rd item to the right i was wondering if my b16a block needs it?

Its a crank position sensor and I beleive only use on obd2 cars (96 and up).
