b16 swap help!
my friend swapped a b16 second gen into his 95 ex just like mine it starts, idles, and heats and cools fine. The check engine lights on and it runs sluggish and wont rev past 5,500 on the p30 ecu. When i put my chipped p28 in, it throws a check engine light but it revs past 5,500. Could his ecu be bad or is something just wired wrong that my p28 doesnt pickup.

But, the p30 will. Also check the code to make trouble shooting easier.</TD></TR></TABLE>
It will feel sluggish if this is the case. I didn't have my knock sensor hooked up on my obdII mini me and it would rev to the rev limiter, but vtec wouldn't kick in. Once it was hooked up it ran better. CHECK THOSE CODES!
