Lagging acceleration

Well, i just bought it like maybe 2 months ago...it ran/runs really strong, but since i've had to do some maintenance on it, and my new oil and coolant problem, it feels like it lags sometimes, kinda like when you have the A/C on...

well if the car is running hot your gonna have issues....whats the coolant problem?
