ok heres the story. i swapped a b16 into my 98dx right before i left for school and im a freshman so i cant have a car. because of this, i didnt drive it much and still have work to do(ie. power steering, a.c., exhaust) the problem is that while i was home over winter break i drove it a few times and it sounds real bad. i got under the car and realized the weld from the piping into the muffler was sliced almost all the way around. now i am gonna order an exhaust and i dont care about emissions so i was gonna order one for my 98 dx and bolt it up with no cat. i need your opinion on if that was why my stock exhaust went bad or if you know anyone that does this no problem. i dont want to drop 500 on an exhaust to have it ruined because of slight fitment problems in a few months, and u guys know all. sorry about the novel...
