Default b16 integra VSS question

i have a 91 integra w/ a b16.
the speedometer doesn't work and i'm getting a code for the VSS

As i understand it, the VSS is in the guage cluster, and the most likely cause of this code is a bad speedo cable. Can someone verify this for me. Also, what cable do i need, the integra cable or a del-sol (if it matters). thank you.

this car has been sitting in my driveway forever and i need to get the bastard fixed now that school's out and i have some freetime.

VSS is Vehicle speed sensor. Most likely it is the speedometer cable at the part where it connects to the tranny. It may have pooped out like mine did.
