After recent events I have discovered my B16 in my Eg has possibley thrown a rod!!! I decided that since I will be tearing it apart to find out what the hell is wrong that I would build either a b20 vtec or a Ls vtec. Was looking for thoughts on my situation. It was a JDM B16 with an LSD so I'm keeping the tranny just not really sure which way to go!!!

 

It's up to you. It's whatever deal you find these days. B series deals are slowly going cheaper.

 

well if the head is still good then buy a cheap b20 block and go that route. My 2 cents.

Yeah I keep finding B20 blocks for like 600 bucks all day I was really really considering it. Just want good clean streetable power without a big heartache. I plan on keeping it for a long time!!!
