b16 block with gsr head
I have a b16a2 block and I'm building a gsr head on the side. My question is, when i do this head swap, do i have to replace the head bolts or are my stockers fine?
Thanks,
Greg

Well its a REALLY good idea to change your head bolts but some people get away with using the same ones. just depends on you.

well actually im asking more of are they the right length.. new head studs are pretty cheap but i only plan on running this head on my b16 until i get the ls block built, which will probably take about a year.

golden eagles for less than 100.00
Usually studs and timing belts go for what block you are using. But I think the gsr head is taller but that may only be compared against an ls head? OR maybe the B20 head. Can't remember.
