which b16
i have a 96 civic hx with a d16y5. i am looking to swap in a b16, but do not know which one to get. i want the one with the least amount of modification. i understand that there wont be anyproblem fitting any of them in there, but the wiring is where i am concerned. what years should i look for. was 96 the first year for obdII. i would like to run a b16b, but would it be cheaper to buy a b16a_ and do a cam swap. can the bottom end of the b16a motors turn the same rpms, or do i need the pistons and rods as well.
thanks

Re: which b16 (sleeperH22)
You have a lot of research ahead of you.The b16b is about the most expensive swap you can find.Do some searching on b16a swaps. There is a ton of info in there.

Re: which b16 (NJIN BUILDR)
how much is it for a b16b swap. i thought it was a bunch too but someone posted on clubsi.com that they would sell a b16b swap for 1400. maybe he doesnt know what he is talkin about. what would be involved in turning a b16a into a b16b.
