Axle Question
I have a gs-r tranny on ls block in an ls Integra. I should be using gs-r axles correct? Im have a strong vibration going 60+ mph at WOT in 5th gear. However there is no vibration with no gas 60+. Im guessing its the axles?

Does it vibrate when you take turns? You hear a click noise? any of the CV boots torn?

The axles are only 1 year old but they are replacements from napa not true oem axles. The motor mounts are good and also have inserts in them.
There is no vibration or clicking when taking turns.

Re: (Chuji)
My civic was doing the same thing but it was a stock 88 dx. It would vibrate under acelleration. Two weeks later I was sitting at a light. The light turned green. I took off normaly and, klunk. The ******* axel popped out of the tranny stripping the splines. I have noticed that re-man axels aren't always exactly the same size. See if the boot looks like it is stretched at all. I had the same prob with my 92 eg. re-man axels were consitently 1/2 short on the passanger side which prematurly wore out the cv joint. Good luck. Let us know if you figure it out.

Re: Axle Question (hondaZvic)
Well at least there are some people with the same problem...
Where can I buy a good, inexpensive axel thats made by someone other than re-man?

Re: Axle Question (Chuji)
Took at look at the inner axle, and it appears to be wobbling when you turn the wheel. Looks like this is the problem.
