Default Automatic swap

Anyone know if the automatic "linkage" is the same on a civic as on an LS. When I swap my B20 with LS tranny into my wifes 99 civic will they bolt up?

Default Re: Automatic swap (Tiamat-blue)

yeah...the linkage (cable) should work. when i put a ls drivetrain (auto) in my civic, i just reused my civ cable. the drivetrain didn't bolt right up in my generation crossover, but i am not sure about the 96-up's. you might also want to look into if the 99 civic autos have tcm (tranny control module). i had to get the one from an integra and wire it up according to a diagram that was hard to find that was drawn up from a acura tech. i could probably help you out with this swap (because i did mine myself) as to most people aren't going to. but if you are a decent mechanic and know your electrics, then it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. my e-mail is b18bhybrid@hotmail.com
