Default Automatic or MT ECU??

I need to locate an obd1 p72 ecu for my swap. Are there automatic p72 ecu's out there? Will they work on a MT car or no?

there are JDM p72's that were auto ecus/ they would need to be modded to avoid throwing a constant code 19 when used on a 5 speed.
